Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 July 2026

Neverhire ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Bluebird Technologies Pty Ltd, an Australian company, and provides quote-recovery and business-operator automation for service businesses. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it. We built this policy to reflect what the product actually does — if a section below doesn't match your experience of the product, tell us at hello@neverhire.ai and we'll fix either the product or the policy.

What we collect

  • Account data: your email address and name, used to sign you in via a magic link (no password is ever stored).
  • Business data you connect: if you connect Xero, we read quotes and the contact details attached to them (name, email) so we can draft follow-ups. We do not read your general ledger, bank feeds, or anything beyond quotes and their contacts. If you connect WordPress or Google Calendar, we access only what's needed for the specific feature you turned on.
  • Content you give us directly: anything you paste or upload to the knowledge base (documents, pricing policies, SOPs), skills you teach the employee, and messages you send in chat.
  • Usage data: which features you use, task/credit consumption, and error logs — used to keep the service running and to bill correctly.
  • Payment data: if you're on a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles that under its own security standards.

How we use it

We use your data only to operate the product for you, specifically to:

  • Find stalled Xero quotes and draft grounded follow-ups from the real contact on file.
  • Send email through our provider (Resend) once you approve a send — never automatically.
  • Answer your chat messages and retrieve relevant knowledge you've taught the employee.
  • Bill you correctly and enforce plan/credit limits.
  • Improve the product — we do not sell your data, and we do not use your business's private data (quotes, contacts, uploaded knowledge) to train models for other customers.

Some processing (drafting follow-ups, answering chat, deriving skills from uploaded knowledge) is done by third-party large language model providers under a processing agreement — your data is sent to them only to generate the specific response you asked for, not for their own model training where a provider offers that opt-out.

Where your data lives

Data is stored on infrastructure located in Australia (AWS ap-southeast-2). Some processing (LLM calls, email delivery) may route through providers with servers outside Australia as part of delivering the feature you're using.

Your rights

You can ask us to export or delete your account data at any time by emailing hello@neverhire.ai. Disconnecting an integration (Xero, WordPress, Google Calendar) from the Integrations page immediately stops new data from being read; it doesn't retroactively delete follow-ups you already approved and sent. If you're in Australia, these rights are informed by the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Security

Credentials for connected integrations (Xero, WordPress, etc.) are encrypted at rest. Sessions use secure, httpOnly cookies. We fail closed: if we can't verify a real recipient or a live mail provider, we stop and tell you rather than guessing or sending anyway.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and change the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Neverhire after a change means you accept the update.
